As humans we all want to live life to the fullest, to enjoy all the ‘’good things’’ of life without any hitches or hindrances. We want what we want when we want it regardless of what we have to do to get it.

To achieve your goals you need to pursue your dreams. You cannot afford to be stuck in a rut or down in a funk.

Living life to the fullest involves taking full advantage of every opportunity available to you to live a happy and satisfying life. It also  involves being intentional about what you do.  This aspect is very important to attain your dreams in life – what you do and how you reach your goal is very important simply because the means justify the ends, and not the other way round. An honest job is key to start on the path to greener pastures.

As a result of our nature, we tend towards things that would give us instant gratification. We want to go through the smooth and easy path to get to our Eldorado, but sometimes unforeseen events change our plans. In these moments, we can make use of all the good things at our disposal.  A lot can be done in pursuit of this dream, and most of the time, we can take steps towards our dream even when events do not go as we planned. When something is not working in one area, we can change the location or even the nature of the job while still prioritizing our life, health and entire wellbeing which are essential for a happy life.

In order to attain your dreams without putting yourself in dangerous situations, there are several things you can do. For example, you can acquire vocational skills and work towards becoming knowledgeable in different areas.  Attaining a skill would make you employable and it can serve as a good start towards attaining your end goal.

Obtaining your goals is a process. Nothing good comes easy- even in developed countries. In developing countries, there are many skills that you can receive training for, such as: hairstyling, fashion designing, makeup artistry, electrical repairs, arts and crafts, cleaning, and event planning. There are several colleges of hospitality in Nigeria which offer courses at pocket friendly prices. They sometimes even offer scholarships, structured payments, and work study.

In a nutshell, there is no reason to attempt to achieve your goals via dangerous pathways. Small actions can lead to big results. If  you nurture yourself properly, you can reach your full capacity and potential and stay safe.

If you stop doubting the smaller steps you take in attaining your dreams,  you will eventually actualize them.  If you compare yourselves to your peers, you will lose sight of the progress you have made. Your efforts and  achievements cannot and should not be compared to that of others because you have your own unique pace and situation. Some say that it’s  not the quantity but it’s the quality of a task that matters.

Every good dream can come true if you stick to it and work hard.

Remember to consult not your fears but your hopes and dreams.  Stay true to yourself ,yet always open to learn.
